Up for sale are TWO DIFFERENT rare 1st PRINTING - THE GRATEFUL DEAD MOVIE - ORIGINAL MOVIE THEATER POSTERS: 1-Sheet 27"x41" AND Half Sheet 22"x28": The 27x41 inch one sheet (see photo #1) - The one sheet is the standard size poster for display at movie theaters. Not many of these were made - an EXTREMELY RARE poster! Most advance Dead poster collectors don't have this one. The 22x28 inch half sheet (see photo #2) - This is the rare 1st printing which was personally supervised by the poster's artist Gary Gutierrez. Gutierrez also did the opening animation sequence for the film. This poster was limitedly distributed by Round Reels (Dead's film Co.) to theaters playing the film. BEWARE OF THE MANY REPRINTS BEING SOLD AS ORIGINALS! These posters are 100% GUARANTEED AUTHENTIC! They are not copies or reprints. They are not bootlegs or fakes. Beware of subsequent reprints out there. These are the real deal - in top condition. The 22x28 is in Mint Condition!  The 27x41 is in NearMINT Condition! These posters were cared for with museum level protection. They were stored in a climate controlled environment, flat and protected between two pieces of acid free paper. It would be impossible to find better condition originals. I will have the posters professionally packaged and sent rolled in a crush-proof tube. I have priced the pair for a start of $1175 - I found this information: The one sheet (27x41 inch) has sold for over $700 on eBay at least twice. These posters were originally obtained by an advanced poster collector in the 1970s. He customarily tried to collect two of each poster he wanted. He was only able to find one of the one sheet but he did have another half sheet in the collection. He consigned it to a Christies Los Angles auction and it sold for $978 - Back in 1996.
