Description
My bookshelves are so crowded some of their inhabitants need to emigrate. Here's one looking for a new home... I'm happy to combine shipping costs ... I can hold items... domestic orders over $50 are sent registered post at no extra cost ... see below for details. Dining on Babylon 5: The Ultimate Collection of Space Station Cuisine (Human Edition) Hard to find collector's item Blurb: "Babylon 5 is home to over 250,000 inhabitants, including dozens of alien races, each with their own very different tastes. The station has to provide suitable sustenance for everyone - from the finely tuned palates of the Centauri to the carrion-eating Pak'ma'ra. "That's why Captain Sheridan has asked me, proprietor of Babylon 5's finest restaurant, Fresh Air, to write this gastronomic tour of Babylon 5. With the help of my good friends Garibaldi, Londo, Lennier, G'Kar and Ivanova, I have pulled together forty-three of the finest recipes from around the galaxy so that you can create a taste of intergalactic cuisine in your own kitchen. "This book is a guide to the food you'll find on Babylon 5, who eats what, and how it is produced, cooked and consumed. It tells you everything you'll need to know about what dishes to seek out and where to find them, what dishes to avoid, what to serve our alien guests and what they might be feeding you. Emerson Briggs-Wallace." Read more information about this title at Amazon.com, including an interesting little story about how it came into being, written by the author himself. I've never actually cooked any of the recipes but a little research on the net suggests they may actually be practical. Good fun regardless. Condition: Very good.* Spine: No creases, firmly bound. Cover: Slight wear at the edges and some corners, mostly crisp. The front bottom right-hand corner suffers the worst wear and is creased with two parallel creases. The interior of both covers are yellowing slightly. Pages: In clean condition. The top-left corner of the left-hand pages are dog-eared or slightly bent from pages 4 to 30. Bottom page corners towards the outer edges of the book very slightly worn, approximately 18 pages in on either side. Remainder mark across the bottom edge. Other info: Paperback, 19x24.5cm,128pp, Boxtree, ISBN 0752211439. Check out my other items!I have other Babylon 5/Straczynski stuff available, as well as science fiction, fantasy, horror, thrillers, general fiction and non-fiction. New listings are being added all the time. I'm happy to combine shipping costs and I can hold items. See below for details. All buyers I try to post as economically as possible. Most of the time this means combined postage - but not always. If you win an item, please wait for my invoice before paying so I can make sure you're paying the best postage rate. All goods packed with loving care. The safety of items takes priority over fitting as much in as possible. Non-paying bidders will be reported to Ebay. Domestic buyers This item will be sent registered at no extra cost. I can hold books for 30 days or until you've filled a 3kg satchel, whichever comes first. As a guide I charge $10 for a 3kg satchel I will always check for a better postage rate. For example local postage rates (within 50 kms) may be cheaper. International buyers Insurance is compulsory for this item. I can hold books for 30 days. Use Ebay's postage quote as a guide only. Please contact me for an exact quote. Books are expensive to ship overseas from Australia! Please be aware it's probably not worth it unless it's hard to find the books in your own country. * A guide to my book descriptions: Mint - Brand new, never used, no marks; Excellent - But for one to three subtle flaws could pass for new; Very good - Could pass for new at first glance, but minor to moderate flaws are apparent on closer examination; Good - Flaws are apparent at first glance but do not detract markedly from the book's appearance; Acceptable - Battered with many obvious flaws; Reading copy - Severe flaws from many years, readings and/or owners. Please bid carefully and ask any questions you may have prior to bidding! I accept returns only as outlined below. Powered by eBay Turbo Lister
