Description
This week I am offering an assortment of items from my various collections. From Entertainment books and memorabilia, to Sheet Music, to Magazine back issues, to Political memorabilia, and to Vintage Paperback books. Have fun browsing. This is one of a very small collection of Joe DiMaggio books and magazines. This auction is for Joltin’ Joe Di Maggio Sheet Music written by Alan Courtney and Ben Homer. This song was copyright, 1941, by Alan Courtney Music, Inc. (Selling Agent: Music Dealers Service). The cover, designed by Barbelle, is a reproduction of the actual signed photo taken when DiMaggio broke record of hitting in consecutive games. Short bio and description of DiMaggio’s feat on back cover. Condition of the sheet music is Very Good to Fine (see photo). Some slight creasing, minor edge wear, and rubbing marks due to handling; small mark at top of front cover shows where price sticker was removed; otherwise, the condition is excellent. There are no marks or writing on interior. Beautiful for display or as a collectible. RARE, especially in this condition.
