Waylon Jennings Signed Original Pass Start Price USD 2,200.00 Current Price USD 2,200.00 Time Left - Bid Count 0 Buy It Now Price - Reserve Price - Start Time Sunday, August 24, 2008 End Time Sunday, August 31, 2008 Location Austin, TX See more about 'Waylon Jennings Signed Original Pass' Description I met Waylon Jennings when I was 18 years old in 1996.  My Mother was married to a member of his original Band and was very close with the family.  I took my little sister to see him, because my Mom felt like she looked too different and that she wanted him to remember her as the "Squirrel Girl."  (I think that my mom is wonderful and beautiful...for the record.)  The concert was at Floores Country Store in Helotes, TX.  While we were waiting for the gates to open, this dude with long red hair walked up to us and handed us these two "All Access, Day or Night, Rain or Shine, Whatever may be-Passes!"  (Talk about excited!!)  I asked him if he knew how to get a note to Waylon and Jessie from my Mom and he said that he'd do what he could.  He then invited us onto his bus out front, while we waited for the gates to open; and when the show started, he showed off his control board...then he disappeared for what seemed like forever!  When he came back, he told us that there was someone who would like to meet us.  (OH MY GOSH!!!)  We walked onto Waylon's bus and there he was, sitting like some sort of god, in this incredible chair-when he stood up, walked over to me and kissed my cheek and told me that I look just like my Mama did when he knew her.  He kissed my Sister as well and then his wife, Jessie, offered us both an Oreo cookie.  I kept 'pinching' myself, thinking that This is the Guy who Narrates The Dukes of Hazard!  haha...He called my mother from the bus and I thought she was going to have a heart attack!  She was hollering somethin' fierce!  When he sang Amanda, he looked right at me on the side of the stage and dedicated it to my Mom.  (Mom had a fondness for that song...) The reason that I am selling one of them, is because I have to have surgery on Tuesday August 12th, to reconstruct my leg and I am going to be out of work for quite some time.  International Bidders Welcomed and Encouraged!!!   Shipping and Handeling for International Shipment will be determined after auction has been won.   This Pass means very much to me.  I know that you will love it too!  Good Luck with your Bids!  Thank YouAmanda in Texas.
